classical Kathak I	CLASSICAL KATHAK I Short compositions which weave complex rhythmical patterns through the fourteen beat cycle "Dhammar". Within this pure dance piece there is large scope for improvisation, in which a dialogue is created between dancer and tabla player. The dancer even speaks the "Bols", the dance syllables, before executing them. Live performance by Ioanna Srinivasan.
classical Kathak II	CLASSICAL KATHAK II This piece is set to the Raag Sarang in the Taal Teental, a sixteen beat cycle.
Kathak	CLASSICAL KATHAK III Excerpts of the performance "Srishti" (creation) highlighting the five elements earth, fire, water, air and space. A choreography by Pt. Vijai Shankar.
